Malta, like the rest of Europe and much of the world, is battling the COVID-19 outbreak, with restaurants, bars, gyms, cinemas and schools told to keep their doors shut temporarily.
"As a first step, we will refund all charges related to cash withdrawal from any other local Bank ATMs, as from today until 31st March, unless extended. This will support our personal banking customers to reduce their travel for cash withdrawals.
"We have endeavoured to reach out to all of our business customers in order to establish best m¬-ethods of support during these challenging times, and our conversations are ongoing. In the eventuality that you haven’t yet been contacted, please send us a message via BNF Internet Banking and we will call you back as soon as possible to discuss best form of support.
