PM meets with members, to address AGM in March

Welcoming the Prime Minister to the Exchange Buildings for a lunch given in his honour on Thursday, the President Perit David Xuereb said that it was the Chamber’s aim to be an active player in the country’s national debate on all subjects that determine Malta’s socio-economic journey.

In the presence of a packed hall, he said that the Chamber made it a point to speak its mind frankly and honestly, both when things go well and praise is due, but also on other occasions.

“Rest assured, Mr Prime Minister, this always happens in the best of intentions, and with the country’s well-being solidly at heart” Mr Xuereb said. “On behalf of our Chamber I promise you our support. We will remain available to express our views and expertise, for the benefit of our members, the business community at large and our country’s success”

A delegation from the Malta Chamber headed by President Perit David Xuereb was received by the Minister for Justice, Equality and Governance, the Hon Dr Edward Zammit Lewis, where he was formally presented with a copy of 'Ethical Business calls for Change - a Manifesto for Good Governance'.
