Chamber seeks practical advice from authorities to help businesses through COVID-19 storm

During a meeting with the Superintendent of Public Health, Chamber offers support in dissemination of best practices, to its membership

Yesterday, a delegation from The Malta Chamber held a meeting with the Superintendent of Public Health Prof. Charmaine Gauci.

The Malta Chamber President Perit David Xuereb congratulated Prof. Gauci’s sterling work in the past days in leading Malta’s effort against the spread of COVID-19 and the subsequent response to the same.

During the meeting, The Malta Chamber offered its help, through the involvement of its members, in the national effort in safeguarding public health.

The Chamber offered assistance in disseminating best-practice actions and procedures amongst its members in various sectors which are hoped to continue operating during this difficult period

Such initiative is also envisaged to be supplemented by specific remote information sessions by the Superintendence of Public Health, for Chamber members.

The Malta Chamber also offered its assistance in helping members embrace social distancing procedures in a bid to reduce risk of contamination and improve quality of life.

During the meeting, Prof. Charmaine Gauci was accompanied by Prof. Michael Borg.
