Edwards Lowell hosted the Palme d’Or Champagne Ball by Chopard on 29th June in the beautiful gardens of Palazzo Parisio to celebrate the Cannes International Film Festival, held every year in May.
Edwards Lowell, with official partners M.Demajo Wines and Spirits and Veuve Cliquot, invited its most esteemed clients to the event, dubbed as one night in Cannes.
Present on the night were two Palme d’Or statues – the highest prize awarded to winners at the Cannes Film Festival. For that night only, the actual 24-carat gold Palme d’Or left its home in the South of France, and was on display at the event in Malta.
Also on display was a selection of exquisite jewellery from the Chopard Haute Joaillerie collection, including a pair of earrings worn by Natalie Portman to the festival this year.
Guests were treated to the vocals and sound of Desi Campbell & band, as well as a flamenco-jazz fusion performance by internationally trained dancers and a performance by fire dancers.
