Frank Bezzina Appointed Director Of The Central Bank Of Malta

Prof. Bezzina is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy (FEMA) at the University of Malta, lecturing in Applied Business Statistics, Decision and Risk Analysis, Management Science and Research Methodology.

Professor Frank Bezzina has been appointed as one of the Directors of the Central Bank of Malta for a period of five years, effective 1st January 2018.

Prof. Bezzina is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy (FEMA) at the University of Malta, lecturing in Applied Business Statistics, Decision and Risk Analysis, Management Science and Research Methodology.

His research interests are diverse, with a focus on investigating phenomena in Organisational Sciences. He has published several studies in international peer-reviewed journals on risk management, corporate governance, transformational leadership, management based on evidence and misconceptions about statistics and methodology.

Prof. Bezzina is a fellow of the UK Royal Statistical Society, and a member of the steering committee of the British Academy of Management's Research Methodology special interest group.

He also holds the position of Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, and Wroclaw University of Economics, Poland.
