Google’s latest smartphone model, the Pixel 4a, has been launched to a warm welcome so far by tech experts, who have described the phone as an affordable version of the Google’s flagship phone, Pixel, while retaining some of its best features.
While the Google Pixel retails at close to €700, the Pixel 4a is priced at around €300. Among its best features are a 12.2-megapixel camera, which supports features like portrait mode and night sight that enables better night-time photography, as well as good battery life and overall performance, and a light body.
The move by Google rivals Apple’s iPhone SE, which is slightly cheaper than Apple’s €350 version launched last April.
Alongside the Pixel 4a, Google is launching two more Pixel phones later this year: a 5G version of the Pixel 4a and a new Pixel 5 model, which will also support 5G connectivity.
