Launch of the Business Enhance RD&I Grant Scheme

The Parliamentary Secretary for European Funds and Social Dialogue, Dr Aaron Farrugia, shall be launching the Business Enhance RD&I Grant Scheme at the Malta Chamber's Exchange Buildings on Thursday 11th January at 14:00hrs.

Members are invited to attend the launch event which will include detailed information on the Business Enhance RD&I Scheme.

The Business Enhance RD&I Grant Scheme is aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of the private sector, through the provision of non-repayable grants co-financed through the European Regional Development Fund, to conduct R&D&I interventions addressing a number of priority areas identified in the Smart Specialisation Strategy including: Manufacturing, Aviation and Aerospace, Health, ICT, Tourism Product Development, and Maritime Services.  

The Business Enhance RD&I Grant Scheme is financed under Operational Programme I Cohesion Policy 2014 – 2020 - ‘Fostering a competitive and sustainable economy to meet our challenges’ – with a co-financing rate of 80% (ERDF) and 20% (National Funds) and addresses Priority Axis 1 ‘Investing in research, technological development and innovation’.
