The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, during which Dr Bernard Grech, Leader of the Opposition, noted how The Malta Chamber is one of the most important stakeholders on the island in contributing to Malta’s economic and social dialogue.
Dr Grech highlighted the need for business to become more flexible than ever before in adapting to new trends and operational manners following the outbreak of COVID. With this in mind, the leader of the opposition praised The Malta Chamber’s ground-breaking work in this new economic reality in aiding the business sphere to re-think and re-engineer the way forward.
Grech commended the indispensable efforts and initiatives that The Malta Chamber took in the past year to be a true catalyst of change and innovation. Through the robust Economic Vision for the next five years, Dr Grech emphasised the importance of such a vision as it was created through the efforts of The Malta Chamber members, the top business leaders of the country.
