Chamber holds update survey on current pandemic situation

In view of the ever-evolving situation due to the Covid-19 crisis, the Malta Chamber is once again reaching out to its members to have an accurate reading of the current situation.

The Chamber is aware that several businesses in Malta are being directly affected by the current developments related to this pandemic. The Malta Chamber is eager to remain connected with its members, and businesses in general, and ensure that it represents their sectors’ realities in an honest and professional manner.

Are you a member of The Malta Chamber? There has never been a better time to join Malta's foremost business representative body! Make sure your voice is heard at this challenging time. Send an email on stefan.bajada@maltachamber.org.mt, to ascertain effective representation at this time.

As you will be aware, the Chamber is already taking a number of initiatives to this effect and has proposed an extensive stimulus package to help the economy weather the initial storm while limiting redundancies in the short term.

The Chamber President and other officials are also meeting the Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers and key decision makers regularly and we are reaching out to you to better measure the impact in your respective sectors.

Therefore, we urge you to fill in this short survey in order to help us gauge the impact on your companies and better represent your interests with the relevant authorities. Your input will also enable us to propose changes to the latest announced Government measures and identify the next best steps to assist your industry sector in a tangible manner. We would appreciate you responding to the survey as individual company rather than as a group, as this would allow us to get a better understanding of the impact on a sectoral level.

The Chamber assures you it will do everything within its power to help you, your business, your employees and to empower a quick recovery of our economy.

The deadline to fill in this survey is Thursday 23rd April at 17:00. For any queries about the survey, kindly contact the Malta Chamber’s Head of Policy Development, Mr Andre Fenech on andre.fenech@maltachamber.org.mt
