Malta Enterprise signs MoU with McGill University to provide specialised courses in medical cannabis

The MoU is intended to pave the way for the exchange of students and collaboration in research activities in the field of medical cannabis.

Malta Enterprise has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a leading Canadian institute called McGill University, intended to provide specialised courses for professionals in medical cannabis.

The MoU is also intended to facilitate a student exchange programme as well as collaboration in research activities in the field of medical cannabis.

Malta Enterprise CEO Kurt Farrugia took to Facebook to say:

“We can become a centre of excellence in Medical Cannabis in Europe. And a centre for education for all professionals in this area.

“This collaboration and others that have already started will continue to enhance our ecosystem for the ultimate benefit of the patient.”
