Malta Stock Exchange Organises Third Annual Investor Education Conference

The Malta Stock Exchange (MSE) has once again organised a successful educational event aimed at the Maltese small investor. 

For the third year in a row, the Malta Stock Exchange (MSE) organised a day conference that was addressed by various experts and practitioners who spoke about the mistakes investors need to avoid when investing, the power of re-investing dividends and income, how to understand and use financial ratios, and the role of the financial arbiter.

The conference was also addressed by the Minister for Finance, Prof Edward Scicluna, who stressed the importance of financial literacy and education, which were are so important to make investors better able to take informed decisions about their investments.

The event was closed by the Chairman of the Malta Stock Exchange, Joseph Portelli, who emphasised the Exchange’s commitment to further develop the Maltese capital market for the benefit of the many Maltese investors as well as stakeholders and of course, the Maltese economy.
