During the recently organised Annual General Meeting by The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, Dr Robert Abela, Prime Minister of Malta, emphasised how vital The Chamber was in a national effort to unite stakeholders to work towards a unified objective.
Prime Minister Abela noted how The Mata Chamber was crucial in providing well-researched positions and proposals which prioritise the needs of the business community and Malta’s workforce with the aim of enhancing our economy at large.
Dr Abela not only acknowledged The Malta Chamber’s tangible and strong efforts in mitigating the impact of COVID but also in aiding the government in developing a vision for the future. He noted that the position papers that The Chamber published on various important matters, such as good governance and digitalisation, were key inputs for government. In fact, such holistic recommendations were taken on board and included in the government’s Economic Vision which was launched at a Cabinet Meeting held at The Malta Chamber’s premises earlier this year.
