RE/MAX Malta recently announced that it has opened a new real estate office in the heart of Swieqi. Situated in Triq Il-Qasam, one of the main arteries of the town, the new franchise will provide a fully-comprehensive real estate service, including (but not limited to) property sales and letting in both the residential and commercial sectors.

The office forms part of the RE/MAX Alliance group, which already has offices located in Tigne, San Gwann, Mosta, St Julian’s and on The Strand.

Kevin Buttigieg, CEO of RE/MAX Malta, said: “The opening of the Swieqi office marks another step in our overall strategy to get closer to our customers and to continue to provide a holistic service to the community.”

RE/MAX Alliance Swieqi is the 24th RE/MAX franchise to open in Malta and it will accommodate a minimum of 15 sales associates which will take the total number of real estate agents within the RE/MAX group up to over 360.

The new office is managed by Raphael DeGabriele, a veteran of the industry with 20 years’ experience, who is being assisted by Christopher Carabott, another industry mainstay who has worked with RE/MAX for 10 years.

Michael Bonello, together with co-franchise owners of the RE/MAX Alliance Group, Matthew Pace and Neil Carter, said: “We are proud to keep growing our business within our group and to provide opportunities for new and experienced estate agents to sell and rent property within our framework.”

RE/MAX is the largest real estate network in Malta, with the biggest database of properties for sale and to let available to the general public. In 2013, the company formed its own foundation, namely RE/MAX & Friends (VO/ 1019), to which its agents, managers and offices donate a portion of their earnings from every property sale or rental.
