The Malta Chamber in collaboration with Jobsplus is offering members the opportunity to advertise their vacancies in a recruitment event in Catania Sicily on the 19th May.

The event is expected to offer members the possibility to advertise any vacancies they may have, in all sectors, in Sicily, thus facilitating the process of recruiting much needed human resources.

The Malta Chamber is taking this opportunity to partner with Jobsplus to offer members a solution to their daily needs. In the light of the country’s severe HR and skills shortages, it is only natural that a small country like Malta turns to other countries to satisfy its needs, albeit with the expected difficulties. This event is expected to alleviate some of these difficulties.

The event is taking place in collaboration with the Government agency Jobsplus, which offers a portfolio of services in the area. In fact, Jobsplus operates both locally, registering and promoting vacancies through its website, as well as through EURES which helps hopeful employees relocate in other EU countries. The May event is taking place though the latter.

Malta Chamber members will be able to advertise their vacancies on the Jobsplus stand on the day. Interested businesses are required to enter a completed Jobsplus vacancy form, or provide a reference (vacancy number) to an existent Jobsplus vacancy. Additional information such as level of English, experience required, salary, and support can also be added on the forms which are downloadable here and here.
