“At The Malta Chamber of Commerce, we constantly strive to drive accountability and transparency within all economic sectors with growth objectives” said Perit David Xuereb as he addressed a press conference launching HSEQutive - a cloud-based solution that provides real-time data to better manage health and safety standards within the construction sector.
Perit Xuereb said that HSEQutive proposals and objectives fit like a glove within the Chamber’s Economic Vision for Malta 2020 – 2025, which was published by The Malta Chamber in January. He explained how being smart and sustainable was the underpinning narrative of the entire vision that should drive our economy in the next 5 to 10 years.
“The focus on digitalisation and professional delivery is not only needed, in the construction industry, but is typical and fundamental in all other sectors, for the benefit of all stakeholders involved” noted Perit Xuereb.
The President continued “It is encouraging to see that industry leaders, such as Parnis & Associates, are bringing in years of experience, knowledge and technology in an effort to effectively assist serious developers, contractors and professionals improve their actions and decision-making on a construction site in the interest of all affected parties.”
The Chamber President noted that such initiatives are a step in the right direction in addressing the need for safer, regulated and accountable operations within the construction industry and help it repair and develop its reputation and standing in the local socio-economic-environmental climate of our nation.
