In particular, the event highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in preventing and mitigating againsts threats, and demonstrated practical ways as to how this can be achieved.

The event was held at the Hilton Malta in St Julian’s, and was very well attended particularly by business decision makers and IT managers across the financial services industry. Both speakers and attendees shared experiences on how technology can help not just the detection and mitigation aspects of information security threats but also the compliance and best-practice aspects within organisations.

Following on the positive feedback and success of this event, BMIT has now planned a calendar of events for other industries in the near future.
